I went from retail to running a small online business, and trust me, you absolutely deserve to aim higher. Retail gave me people skills, grit, and problem-solving on the fly, those translate directly. Start small on the side if you can; momentum does a lot for your confidence.

Do you review the other side’s escrow instructions and provide comments? 4 years in and I’ve never done this. Working for a new partner and she insists on doing so “in case there are competing instructions” but isn’t that the entire point of funding through an escrow agent/title company?
