💵💵💵 makes everything else obsolete. You come to the middle east to go back to Europe retired decades before you would be able to do so in Europe. It's not career, it's life choice
If you spent years only doing mega project or public sector work, it’s going to be harder
Harder in regards to what ? Be more specific you are a manager man
Although this was my goal once I moved here to the Middle East, I am slowly coming to realize that retiring early is not a strong incentive enough to keep me here for the time needed to achieve this goal. I miss my life, friends, and quality of life in Europe and I don’t think there is a price to it. I am actively looking to come back. It will take time of course
I moved back to the UK after 13 months
Consultant - tbh for one interview they felt i was out of knowledge of UK trends but dont thinks its a blocker. Just have to make sure experience translates well to your country/market and projects are relevant to that industry

A guy did 2 years at Kearney and moved back to France with no problems. And stop saying obsolete there is always a job for you in Europe lol
I thought you become obsolete the moment your mind starts to wonder about the Middle East.
