Ok better question would be “what matchmaker have you used”?
Yes, I recommend against it. It’s very expensive and while you can hone in on demographics- which is the one thing they do best, ie matching lifestyles incomes, things you don’t necessarily get honest input about - other than that it’s not a lot better than an app. For the price it’s hard to rationalize. My dating advice is simple : stop trying. I found a very good match only after I stopped trying because we all look so hard and we are willing to overlook flaws out of our own desperation. If you are looking and thinking about paying that much - you are very desperate- no judgement I was there to. Get to know yourself, spend time with yourself; find what you enjoy by yourself or with others. Most people including me at one time, are not ready to date because they don’t feel complete in themselves; only when you feel like you don’t need someone else there are you ready to date - and I mean than; we all put so much pressure on relationships when we need them and that is why dating is hard … good luck 🍀
Something tells me spending more time in nail salons will not generate the same results for me….but good story I’m sure!
