I finally have an extra room to set up a home office. I’m looking at motorized standing desk, but there are so many options out there that it is overwhelming. What’s your recommendation for an L-shaped desk?

Any advise for wrist pinch pain? (Not looking for the surgery route). I also have an ergonomic keyboard.

Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. I recently lateraled into Big Law. Most of my colleagues are homegrown. My shift did involve a big change in practice area, and there's work that I haven't done before that I now have to do.

But, sometimes I feel stupid here, even for work which I have done previously. It's like I'm unable to understand instructions the first time around. And I have seen my colleagues getting annoyed by that. It's like I've become dumb. In my defence, I could say they're giving half assed instructions.

Home office preference question. I am getting ready to redo the layout of my home office. One option I'm considering would have my desk facing a wall.
