Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

What level are you at? You usually get more comfortable by learning from managers and higher level staff. It's basically a task of being prepared and anticipating questions. The more you sit in on calls or meetings with your team, the more you get a sense of what questions will come at you, and the easier it is for you to prepare to handle the calls or meetings yourself.
I am actually a new manager, and adjusting to the role well in general...I do quite well with other partners. It's just a particular partner where I just get more stressed around with. And it affects my performance.
There are partners like that for most people. The more you work with them, the more you just know how to deal - or you care less. Try to be clear with them at the end of every meeting on what the next steps are - what you'll do; what they'll do; what someone else will do. And be clear on when next you will regroup, if necessary. Not much else you can do to manage that relationship.
There are some partners that inevitably create mistakes because they want everything RIGHT NOW / by end of day / by tomorrow morning. When you put a really strict timeline on complex projects, they should expect that there may be some errors as no one has had the time to go through the proper process.
That said, the rest comes with time and experience.
