I got a job as a infrastructure consultant right out of college 3 years ago and later became a solutions architect at the company I am at now. I have a degree in CS and never really got the chance to use my programming skills (Java, python, Springboot framework). I’m finding that I’m not really in to platform engineering or cloud infrastructure and would like to pivot to software/app development. And suggestions on where I could get started on making this transition?

Has anyone left law completely and never looked back? I’m looking into a huge pay cut going to be an EMT, but I’d rather be happy than miserable.
