So- we run Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) for our clients display ads in a feed and corresponding google sheet via Google DoubleClick. My q is- does anyone know what systems out there allow for creating a template that will automatically pull a product image from say Target.com and automatically building the ad & copy without manually making 1000 ads via row for row in the google sheet? I know this is possible but curious if Sizmek or Flashtalking are more common in this type of creative development.

Oh yeah.. We use it all the time; it saves so much of our time, and it's so easy. I feel like Canva was always there, but I forget it's actually not that old of an app. Impressive story!

I think that’s the niche they wanted to fill.
I have to admit it. I use Canva for a lot of things. It is a helpful tool. I don’t know if it’ll be able to keep up with the tools as they develop but right now it’s pretty handy.

I still find their AI image generator to be buggy. I use the video editing for quick storyboards, but not finished work.
I only use Canva for personal projects like baby shower invites or Christmas cards that we send out to family. But maybe I should explore it more as a professional tool!

I mainly use it for personal work or quick renderings to work out ideas.
Canva rightfully has its place among the ‘big names’ even though now it is 100% a big name itself. One of the very, very few companies I’ll look forward to and watch those keynotes and updates.

They found a need and responded. Now big players like Adobe are working to compete in that space when I see them more as the professional platform.
Yes. I've been using it for probably 8 years now. Our design team still prefers Adobe, but when I just need a simple graphic or to remove an image background or resize a file, I just do it in Canva instead of wasting their time.

Same. I find it useful to work out ideas and use Figma and Adobe for high fidelity.
Yes! We can’t afford a real graphic design suite yet lol

Agreed. They have a good position in the market and can climb up it in enterprise and grab some of the other tech giants market share by staying closer to the end users needs.

Use of Canva is growing in our company. I wonder Microsoft PowerPoint will ever decide to copy cat the UI and features and try to keep their market share. Our IT org pushes back pretty hard on adding licenses to Canva when you have a lot of the same capabilities already. But Canva has won the user experience for the consumer and now it’s hard to go back.

I’m not a fan of their AI, but I agree that its intuitive design is why it’s so popular now.
