What is the slary range for level 25?
Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

At most banks, bonuses are completely discretionary, so unless this is negotiated in advance, banks won’t guarantee the bonus (and therefore usually don’t disclose amounts in advance). Of course this could be nerve-wrecking, but surely it will be fine if it’s a reputable bank. If he needs a portion of that income, it should have been negotiated as part of his base salary.
Your husband should negotiate the bonus going in. At ED level you can definitely negotiate a range. It won’t be in the offer letter but it’s on record internally and in most cases they will honor what’s negotiated.
This is what I would suggest as well. If they want him bad enough, they will negotiate it with him.

No at my company it is the same where they don’t share the target bonus anymore. I only know what mine in because before they used to show us what it was. He or you can check Glassdoor to ballpark it but overtime he will figure it out. Maybe they can give a rough number for what was given last year if you ask them. BofA was similar as well with me where I had to try hard to get a ballpark %. It’s quite annoying.
But if you look at Glassdoor it may not be entirely accurate because it can have people from different lines of businesses where they can vary from like maybe 30% to 200%
Sharing the target bonus with the employees is mostly discretionary on the part of the company. Why don't you ask senior employees if the company had a bad reputation when it comes to giving bonuses.
