tl;dr: Acting Manager at this stage, workload is manageable but indifferent - feel good that there's a support from leadership to get Manager Promo next year. But worth it? Got a bonus but need to stay with the firm for 12 months. Have got industry offers for 20% more (up to 45% if bonus considered).

Would you ever trust a place if they asked you to do a trial project (even if it’s super small) during the interview process? I’m interviewing with a place and the recruiter said there’d be. Met with the CD and he never mentioned anything about it. Meeting with someone else soon. Place does well, but just off principle, don’t think I’m willing to do it.
