Who else started with small businesses and moved up to medium and large at agencies structured to handle it? I handle 40 clients and some 60 Content managers, ad managers, designers, developers, and a smattering of other positions.

Which was better? I have almost complete autonomy over what happens with small biz, but getting to focus on projects for more than an hour/month sounds nice.

Is there such a thing as getting promoted TOO quickly? Just got the bump to AS after 10 months as an AE. Not at all typical at my agency (usually 5 to 8 YOE). I picked up a lot of opportunity after turnover last year. I am, of course, thrilled, but do wonder if it'd put the validity of my agency in question when looking at my resume. Am I crazy? I am really biased toward people with clinical/in hospital experience because, quite frankly, healthcare is a different beast - lots of hand holding and change management.
