Have to go to LA for work and my husband is going to meet me for 3 days. Any recommendations on places close-ish (ideally less than 2 hours drive because we are going to have a long flight home to/from LA) to go for a quick trip? We aren’t big resort people and prefer boutique hotels and walkable areas. Would like access to a pool.

I’m scared COVID is just beginning and we’ll see climate change lockdowns and huge restrictions in the next years.

Like travel will probably be restricted for “essential reasons only”. We won’t be able to buy meat as often, etc.

I’m also scared that the QR vaccine passports for entertainment (like in Europe, Canada and NYC) will never disappear and that we’ll keep have to keep using them for our booster shots and maybe climate reasons.
(I’m fully vaxx-for now, untl they require more doses)

I just got a job with Delta airlines and I had an accomodation request to work remotely as I am Immunocompromised. I provided all the neccesary documents to back up my request and letters and documents from my Dr. aswell. My request was denied because the team said they wanted me to have face time and one on one interactions with people from other team (which defeats the purpose of my request) because I have to limit those interactions to reduce the risk of infection.
