Hotel recommendations in Sydney and Melbourne?

Hyatt

Sheraton Grand in Sydney is ideally located and is a nice hotel

Westin for both cities

Park Hyatt or Grand Hyatt are both nice than Sheraton in Melbourne. Sheraton on the park in Sydney

*Sheraton on the Park in Sydney has been renamed to Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park.
Staying at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne right now actually - rooms are a bit dated (in a homey sort of way) and the beds are not great but it's a really nice hotel otherwise. Apparently the President of India is staying here tonight 🤷‍♂️

Westin Sydney was super nice. Good location, great full gym, nice lounge / food for bfast and afternoon tea

Sydney- stayed at all but one MARRIOTT/SPG property there and can confidently say Pier One is the best. Second, Sheraton on the park.

Why have you even wasted money in booking the hotel, just for high tea? Do you think, people would care about the townhall & go?, if you just give high tea?
Seriously man! I don't even know, why PwC is even coming under Big4! Shame!!

Need advice. Have some credit card debt that I’ve been working to pay off. Have made progress but want to lower it quickly. We have dual income, with a house (~$300k in equity), 1 kid and 1 on the way. I’ve looked into debt consolidation via HELOC but also have ~$80k in vested equity in my company that I haven’t touched. Get equity refreshes every year. Would it be smarter to cash out $15k-$20k of that to pay debt vs. a HELOC at ~5% given that will still require mthly payments

How many firms is too many? I’ve practiced 13 years. Since I was a 1st year associate, every 3 years or so I’ve been recruited for another opportunity that is hard to pass up. I’ve been at my current firm 3 years and got the call again, again about an opportunity that is hard to pass up. I don’t like having a reputation of a flight risk, but this keeps happening. Should I decline to pursue the opportunity just so I have a longer track record at my current firm? This will be my 4th if I move.

Been feeling very low for a very long time. Working with a Big Four for 7+ years (since graduation) and was excited to join consulting as I get easily bored, wanted to grow at an exponential scale and wanted to travel for work. Cut to now, though I am well sought after for my skills and consistently got 25%+ bonus, I feel I have achieved nothing cuz I didn't get the promotions that I worked for, people have been chosen over me for overseas travel and destroyed my social life. Venting only! :)

I’m in interviews with a few companies. It was initially to see what was out there to negotiate my pay. Now, I’m seriously considering leaving my current company because of what one of the prospect companies represent: everything I want in a company/role. (Plus they reached out to me) AND they will pay me almost double what I’m currently making annually, put me in a position to advance (so many options!!!!!) and allow me to move/travel when I get ready to.

What should I do? Guidance please!!!

CBRE Fish: is there a CBRE bowl access code? Part of TCC so can't access it myself but obviously same HR/Policies for the most part so would be helpful to be able to see/ask questions there.

If you’re hoping to find a housing deal, you’re out of luck in the short term.
Maybe if you can deal with the higher payments for the next 3 years and sell/refinance above today’s prices you’ll be ok, but this isn’t going to be pretty.

I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? I assume mgrs see the full monty when it comes to pay...right?
