Have you ever applied for the same job again after your application was rejected. Say you revamped your résumé to be more ATS friendly?

I've done it a few times. Got the exact same result second time around 😅. Oh well. Never know unless you try.

I think it's worth it. So many job applications are being automatically filtered these days that it probably never sees a human anyway, so what's the harm? You might as well shoot your shot again if you think you would be a great fit.

Many times. Sometimes for roles I didn’t get a screening for. Other times for roles I interviewed at and didn’t move to the next round

Yes, but different geographic area for same role.

Got it on that second try. You must be persistent if you really want it.

Don't be a pest, learn what you can from each interview, but stay the course.

I did recently. Rejection thr first time. Second time I got a personalized email stating they were extremely impressed with my resume (same one as the first time), but they filled the role but ask me to apply again if I see something come open 🤷‍♀️

Yes and I actually got the job on my second try. Hope everything goes well for you😊Well there's a job opening I'd like to share, Equinox cruise ship is currently in need of 6 remote workers. They pay upto $7k per 2 weeks, I believe they're more in search of online Merchandise staffs, it's about keeping records of Food&Beverage sales remotely. is anyone in for it?

Are cover letters important if they don’t ask for one? There are so many job postings and applicants I can’t tell if they would be beneficial to show effort or just a waste of time to write with how little time I assume people are looking at applications with the mass hiring going on. If I should be writing one, any advice how to format?

Currently scheduling “on sites” for a S&O role in CA. My referrer said they can hire as L5 or L6. Would like to land in the L6 bucket as I’ve heard 5 --> 6 is one of the more challenging promotions.

I’m looking for info on what the real difference is in responsibilities (manager vs IC, cross functional vs focused, etc) so I can focus on checking the L6 boxes during my interviews.

I’m also curious about whether this is something that I should just discuss with my recruiter directly?

I recently interviewed for a role at Goldman Sachs and completed all the levels. After the final interview HR sent me a link to fill out the Compensation Questionnaire and requested for related documents. Next day, another HR called me for some clarification and told me that they are going to request for some approvals. Does this mean I can expect an offer letter? If yes, how long will that process take?

Has anyone heard of TechGC/DeputyGC? Thoughts on membership?

I accepted already but may get an offer from another HR company in account management around 90-100K. Need advice

I expect to be asked at some point, but my research has given me a VERY broad range. So I’m here to do a bit more research. I’ve got 5 very relevant years of experience and will have an associate manager directly reporting to me. Are there any marketers out there who can share their salaries in similar regions and experience levels?
