There are very very less chances of layoffs in EY GDS. EY revenue is rapidly increasing YOY and they had the best revenue year 2022 in the last 20 years.Hence job security is very high.

Haven't seen it happening in last 4 years. Not sure what happens in the future.
Actually we forgot to understand why companies do layoffs. Take past history and analyse. As per my investigation company don't layoff if revenue is coming and getting profit YOY. Meta does due to loss of revenue and Twitter does due to Jiddi. In India the layoff chance is very less. Stay happy and try to enhance your skills and experience. Be positive. All is well.

Hmm I don't think so. I have not heard of such things. People usually resign by themselves due to big 4 burnout effect (at least this is the case in audit, not sure about other service lines).
Not only EY-GDS, EY-India is also laying off
Layoffs is a reality - i have personally seen it happening in EY gds, however it's not a mandatory practice and not a mandatory target. If an individual doesn't perform and there are multiple escalations from client, he will be laid off as simple as that
