Have you ever been asked to license historical quotes and/or historical figures name and likeness for advertising, how do you handle this normally and what is the best way to find a contact for permissions. Some clarity, past 100 years and mostly American.

Why would you have to license if it's past 100 years and American? Public Domain right?

Public domain is one aspect but rights of publicly can remain following death based on the state the person was primarily associated with. Consult a lawyer.

What attorney was that? Would love to have that name in case I need it in the future!

Try David Born. Pretty amazing resource for anything really and a lawyer so 2 for 1. https://bornlicensing.com/

I’m relocating to the US from an international rotation to work in Galveston. I have never been to Texas and I am trying to find the best spot for my family to live in. So far from reading online it sounds like Pearland is a good option but I have not been able to validate that/ figure out what other options are out there. I would appreciate all advice:
1. Would you recommend living in Pearland?
2. What are other good areas to live in? Safe and would like to be less than 1 hour from Galveston.

I know I'm in the minority here (and I swear this isn't a brag) but is anyone else less stressed this busy season working from home, and finding issues focusing because of it? My work is getting done, but just very very slowly. I'm able to sleep throughout the night and not wake up early (which is a huge negative right now) and literally feel no need to stay glued to my computer as in prior years. Am I broken?

Hey BA friends! I work at a small agency and we’re doing a shoot end of the month. Normally all of our production insurance is covered by liners but for some reason this shoot clients are asking to see our production insurance policy, which we don’t have. Is this something every agency should have? I’ve either had client or production cover so not 100% sure on this! US based company. Shoot is oversees.
