I have seen toxic workplaces improve when new leadership took over or clear communication and boundaries were established. However, change often takes time and effort from everyone. If you see genuine attempts to improve, hope might be reasonable. If not, prioritizing your well-being may mean moving on.

Very true. We do have a lot of new leaders over the past year and lots of positive change so I do feel some level of hope that feels legitimate

I've seen it improved with significant personel changes.
There has to be a willingness from upper management to effect that kind of change though. It’s amazing how the toxicity evaporates as soon as the toxic people leave as well. We had some leadership changes made that have been such a breath of fresh air. If there are no signs of changes, I'd recommend that you start looking just in case. Because you could be there hoping and waiting while your mental health worsens.
Yep, I agree that real change must come from management-so their position should likely be your deciding factor, because wisdom tells us that we can only change ourselves and our attitudes- not others. Religions and self help programs teach that. So if it’s truly toxic, you have to have management onboard to teach enlightenment because if you have behaved in the proper way and your coworkers haven’t learned and adapted to your efforts then only a manager can help. But I would love to remind you that most pharmacy workplaces are toxic so wherever you go, you’re going to encounter toxic people at some level—-from my experience. Which is why I left traditional pharmacy practices after 25 years of being personally adversely affected by them, despite years of therapy!
I’m sorry that you are experiencing the same bullcrap, but I’m not surprised. Good luck and keep praying.
And also, please please don’t let it change You 😏
I havent yet. So good luck. Until upper management learns they need to be in the trenches sometimes, nothing will change.
