Having a hard time meeting expectations. I am working for a start up company in the health space (10+ years retail company) I was hired to run the RCM department because of my expertise just me. The first month I was there my job was to help in various queues and ensure the “job was done”. Hello, I need your advice. I am currently in management in primary care. I have a strong management background in specialty hospital practice management. Recently some leadership positions have become available and I feel as if my leader has discouraged me from applying. His take is that I should take certain steps before applying, however I have the experience from my previous employment in this leadership role. Would I be overstepping to apply anyways ?

Anyone familiar with Covid Supplemental Paid Sick Leave in CA? Does having planned time off nullify a full time employee’s ability to use the C19 sick leave if they become sick just prior to the planned time off?
