I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..

Signing bonus really depends but probably no more than 10K. Only MBAs grads get the huge signing bonuses.
Dont negotiate PTO, waste of time anyways. We get 23 days and it’s more than enough.
Bonus % is not negotiable either, that’s determined at year end.
TLDR; Ask for higher base
All levels can go negative. Managers and above get more PTO per year. Not sure the progression, or exact amounts
Are you going to consulting or advisory? SC bands can be pretty wide 90-150+ all possible based on your specialization and YOE
Consulting. Stratcomms, change. 8 yoe. Previous gov consulting exp and clearanced.
PTO days and bonus% are fixed to my knowledge....I wouldn’t waste time negotiating these.
Signing bonus and base yes. I’ve seen big4 signing bonuses range from 50k (with 2 year vest) to nothing. I have very little data on covid impact- assume it will negatively impact but who knows.
Bar varies too- rough 85k to 150kish. Biggest factor is group- strategy pays more as you might expect.
A friend took a job with Deloitte about 6 weeks ago and was told they’d paused doing sign-on bonuses. No clue if that’s still true (or if it was even true at the time)
