I'd say it depends where you want to work next, and whether you have some compelling reasons to not stick around.
Where you want to work next: some companies will frown on your short tenure - that is, anything less than two years (average tenure in Tech roles is 1.92yrs). While in Tech, we tend to recognize that people move for better opportunities, or generally, we don't care. If you're working in a more traditional field, a 6 month gig would really look bad.
Compelling reasons: if a potential employer has pause for concern with your tenure, they'll either reject you at application stage, or want to ask you why all the job changes. Some of your job changes, you provided compelling reasons... But this 6 month stint could hurt you. So be prepared to explain.
I’d stay 6 more months. Unless it’s draining your mental
I don't think it will give that much of an effect to your resume. During interviews, usually when employers or HR will come across that section and wants you to clarify something they will just ask you about it. If they do, just explain yourself .
There’s no rules. I’ve left jobs after one single day before. It’s never affected me getting the next role
There's no set way of being sure. Some recruiters don't mind that. I think it's well known that gen z doesn't stay in jobs long lol
Honestly if you don't feel like you learned any transferrable skills from the job or any accomplishment you want to share, you don't even have to include it on your resume.
I actually feel like I’ve learned A LOT and I think having a Director-level job would look good on my resume. The reason I would quit is because I don’t believe in the vision of the CEO and the company is not getting any new clients… the toxic culture is also affecting my mental health
People used to say that but I feel like nowadays, it really doesn't matter. THey really don't frown upon it like they used to. Especially when you are honest and transparent about your reasons for leaving.
