Hello All, I am going to join OpenText next month for the Opsbridge product team as a part of ITOM as an AI Engineer. Considering the recent developments in OpenText related to CEO and selling some non-core assets, is it safe to join now?

If you receive an offer how can you ask for more time other than the two weeks to give notice? I would like a week or two to myself before I start working for a new company - is that too much to ask for?

Interviewed with Chicago court 2 weeks ago; they decide mid-August. Interviewed with DC judge last week; hear from him by this Friday. Chicago said if I need an answer before August, they'd try to make a decision about me sooner.
Should I ask Chicago for an answer? Or should I wait until there's an offer from DC judge? Maybe seems better to withdraw before an offer is made rather than ask for time to think about it/turn down DC? What's proper etiquette?
