I am looking to break our of a bedside role into a remote nursing/Healthcare related role in the DC/MD/VA area. Most job opportunities I see are for case management and utilization review but I don't have any experience. Does anyone have any advice or job leads?

How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
I prefer working for what is offered on contract without negotiating, and then negotiate when I transition into the company itself so I have a better chance of getting the contract position and show my skills.

Anyone make the jump from legal practice to being a professor with a similar pay range? I always thought if I didn’t practice law I would’ve liked to teach. Just saw “B,” the former GC/my predecessor (also my mentor) who is retired but still comes to our conferences. He told me what an amazing job I was doing, how far I’d moved us forward in contract scaling, revenue, and infosec, and how he looked forward to seeing what I do for the company next.

CEO told me last week that he’s letting me go from the company at the end of the year. Clearly B does not know yet.
