Thanks for these kind words and I do know this but the thing is when you see around and everyone is doing so well it sort of feels bad
I am travelling the same boat as you buddy and the clouds of doom loom over my head too. Most often I see around and my friends are doing good for themselves and in some moments I'm not proud of, I also used to think that damn, it should have been me too. But when that just hinders I just get back to my senses and see not how far still I have to go, but how far I have come even. Until some years back I couldn't imagine myself driving the kind of car I drive today. But touchwood, when it had to, everything just fell into place and the sky turned pink.
I'd not say to reach out to some button at the back of your head that shuts down your sorrow, because there's none. But try to pull yourself out of it, one day, one moment at a time and just keep walking. You'll be there when you have to. Worrying won't get you there faster, would it.
