Any recommendations on books on Leadership?

I believe improving one’s sales conversion rate is something everyone want to improve but no one wants to admit they would like to work it. Funny how lawyers will spend thousands on seminars to improve trial skills. But this topic is not discussed in our profession. I have read books in sales. But am unable to find any for lawyers. I want convert every lead I can. Does anyone have tips, books, cle’s or studied this topic?

I have practiced law for several years and still struggle with the feast-or-famine nature of my practice. (Sudden rush of client outreach, many emergencies, then … nothing). A famine week might be 3-4 billable hours/day. I just make a career transition from recruiting to Org Development at a consulting firm 6 months ago. I’m really struggling to learn the things I want to learn since I’m alone on projects and they aren’t change management based- more just building training materials (which is what I got my masters in). Is it worth to switch to an internal role even though I don’t have hands-on change management experience? All of the roles want change management. All advice and insight is welcome!

Seeking advice for moving from industry leadership role (dr of training) into HC consulting. 20+ years in TD (L&D, PC, OCM). Industry roles for last 5 years but spent most of my career in small consulting orgs.
CPTD but no degree (long story, about 15 cr shy). Would you suggest addl cert (CCMP, SHRM-C)? Will the lack of degree a no-go or is there a way in while I finish? A Sr director role is being dangled. Would the title bump help with the transition or do I risk missing a hot market?
