Adjustments to year-end comp thoughts?
Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.
Any talks yet on the A&M bonuses?

McKinsey & Company Hey folks!
Was wondering what sort of life sciences projects does usually the Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Company take on?
Commercial, access and pricing, M&A, transformation, implementation? (all of them perhaps?)
Basically, what would someone with an LS background be mainly working on in these firms on a day-to-day basis?
Thanks!

If you are in ISL/ISDL, you should be flexible to work in whatever project you're put in and not keep crying about legacy tech or skillset mismatch.
For me, personally, I worked hard for my first year here, got good ratings and a very decent appraisal hike. That alone is worth putting in the effort.
I got offer from ISDL Power system, how is it? Can they give WFH or I can join in different location other than what is mentioned in offer letter
Layoffs are everywhere, it’s all about how you navigate through that. After all, all these MNCs are private companies and they can layoff anyone anytime. So skill up regularly and always be prepared for such situations. Now the TCS guys will come and tell you about their security. TCS too does layoffs not directly, indirectly by pushing you out by giving no/peanut hikes and pathetic management culture. Those who want life will switch others just sit in comfort zone and waste their life. Remember we work to live not live to work. Get high packages by switching, save a lot, invest and retire early!
Whats the offer you got? And your current CTC please. I am currently waiting for Offer from ISL
