I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. I joined a SoftBank/Arm owned company, after the interview they showed me an unofficial spreadsheet with a bonus structure of 30% + 25% of 30% (performance based). However I was told that it’s complex so I should look at final numbers. When they made me the offer, it stated 15% bonus which I ignored because the recruiter had promised me 30% + 25% of 30% (performance based). Now, after three months he says that I will get only 15% - I feel cheated and naive for believing the recruiter.

I’m up for a promotion at work and I have no idea how much to ask for since it’s not a standard position. Currently I’m a team lead and manage about 8 technicians, my promotion will be to a regional service delivery manager, and I will be managing over 30 in 3 locations. I went from a tier 1 engineer in managed servers to team lead with about a 10k increase in salary.I’m thinking about a 15k increase this time from 65k to 80k.
