Hello all I joined in June 2025, this year they told me to accommodate teams balanced rating we could not offer you anything ( but we appreciate your efforts & blah blah! ) ..& my letter was received today actualy at IM rating the gave 0% hike and in offer letter it was mentioned 10% as variable but I would be receiving only 90% of that 10% of it.
Is this the general practice here, any thoughts welcome ..no mention of any variable for 2026-27 would there be any variable next year ?

Looking for some honest advice. Considering an offer with SocGen B’lore for Specialist Software Engineer position with 5.5 years exp and into Tech service management. Could you please tell me a bit about following points?

- 25% of the compensation(5Lakhs) is Variable. Does company even pay 60% of it at the end of the year if you perform say 4/5 rating?
- What is an average annual hike that the firm gives?
