Hello all. My DOJ clashes with Releasing date with my current organization. Current organization is not accepting early release. It's 30th April. Both Joining and release date. Will BOA HR accept if I join one day late , and what should I tell them ? I have 20 days . Should I tell right away or wait till April last week and then inform them ? Pls guide me. Really need suggestions.

1. Smaller firm about to be acquired by a larger one, Product Marketing role (title would be Sr. PMM)
2. FAANG, Sales Account Manager role (similar to my current role)
I have 5-6 YOE and have been in an Account Management role for most of my career - is it worth making the switch to PMM at a smaller firm or sticking with what I know at a FAANG? Both would have relatively similar comp. Thanks in advance for your input!
