Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.

What would you do in this situation?

I saw some sales managers discussing hiring strategies, especially for entry level roles (e.g. SDR, BDR).

One strategy that came up was having the applicant do 90 minutes of cold calling into real prospects with the hiring manager coaching.

What do you think of this approach? Would be curious to hear from both hiring manager perspectives and from candidate perspectives.

I just defended my first depo and I feel like I did a terrible job. The questions and answers were so fast I feel like I didn’t even have a chance to think what objection was appropriate. Any resources for learning objections better. Or tricks on how to tell when a question being asked is not good?

Does anyone know what the expected ballpark valuation at IPO? Trying to figure out the potential value of stock options I got as a new hire.

Thoughts on the consulting reorg? Feel it's a good move to break the silos between DTC/FC/PM and align everyone to one success criterion.

Not sure about the supposed growth though!
