If you are planning to buy a house soon, here's a great way you can save taxes.

When you usually sell your shares, it attracts taxes. You either pay STCG for less than 1 year or LTCG for 1 year or above. Even if you sell your existing property, you would have to pay taxes on the capital gains.

But, if you have plans to buy a house, use the Capital Gains Account Scheme (CGAS) to save taxes.

How does CGAS work?

Let's say you bought a few shares in 2017 and want to sell them in 2022.

I am Offered 29.5fixed by PwC for SA (L2). Currently on 25fixed. Should I join ? In terms of WLB.! My current employer on fishbowl shows Deloitte but have left Deloitte a year back. Currently in a firm with good WLB but PWFH is a big win for me that PwC is offering.
Any guidance or fist hand experience sharing is highly appreciated.

When I moved in-house a year ago as a BigLaw mid-level, I took a 45% pay cut, far more than I was comfortable with (although I was fine with a 20-30% cut). I took the job because it was a great role and I was focused on making the jump in house and developing the skills I wanted, which required me moving away from my firm practice area. Now that my year-end review is coming up, how do I ask my company for a significant pay raise (not just a 2-5% inflation-matching raise)?

Hello!
Hope all is well.
I work in Billing/Revenue Cycle. I want to transition the skills I have to a Analyst/Auditor/Fraud Investigation role. I just completed my Bachelor in Business Administration. I also took a Data Analyst Boot camp, Tableau 1 & 2 about at year ago.
Looking for salary, tips or advice.
Thanks!

I would love some suggestions on transitioning and career paths.

I gave 15+ years in healthcare claims (payer side, physician/facility side) and revenue cycle management. I’m burnt out and want to transition away from revenue cycle mgmt.

I only have my Associates degree and would currently need to take a job that is remote with no/minimal phone responsibilities. What roles do you recommend that would allow me to transition my skills while maintaining a minimum salary of 50k?
