What should you be shooting for in TC at age 30, without an MBA?

Does anyone have any company recommendations for where I could reasonably expect to earn $80,000+ in a remote role in the US? I recently finished my MBA and have several YOE, and I’ve been targeting analyst/consulting roles after completing the Google Data Analytics certificate. Any input is appreciated.

I’m currently a Risk Analyst and a full time MBA student. I don’t have any experience working on the investment side of the bank but I would really like to pivot into an investment analyst role. I’m from America, but currently working in London and would really like to stay here. Does anyone have any tips or advise that might help me land an investment analyst role in London?

Is it hard to get into Salesforce? Big 4 consultant with 10 yoe, mostly in ERP/CRM implementation and program/project management, have Salesforce Admin cert but not much hands on experience due to mostly management exp, looking into Director TPM roles - should I apply? Or should I wait until I somehow gain more hands on SF experience?

CAIA or CMT?

I do institutional sales for an asset manager. Am graduating in the fall with an MBA from a top 40 school. Would like a designation but dont want to do the CFA.  Between the CAIA and CMT: which one is more applicable to asset management, and better status/recognition? appreciate any insight

Ok NOW I can finally say I passed all four parts of the CPA exam. I can’t even begin to tell you all how hard of a journey this has been for me and how much sleep I’ve lost throughout these past few months. It was all worth it though. I see people are announcing they passed on LinkedIn so just practicing again until I finally do.

Recently obtained my aPHR and I’m considering next steps in advancing my career. I am eligible to sit for the SHRM-CP presently and will not be able to sit for a PHR until 09/2023. Any pros/cons with either certification? Should I wait to sit for PHR or go for SHRM-CP now?

I have submitted the documents for LTI..before an formal HR call one lady HR called me and ask for expected CTC..i have one offer in hand and i demand 20% of that offer as fixed..she asked me to negotiate and so i went for 20% of offer as total CTC instead of fixed..she simply said OK thats it..and call ended..will I get positive note from them....?

Band teachers... how do your virtual band classes work? I’ve been doing music theory with students via google classroom and kids constantly ask to play instruments. It seems like a nightmare to have 30 kids with instruments online because of the delay in sound. Help plzzzz

Have any of you taken "low bono" clients while working at a firm? I want to take on a low bono client or two but not sure who would get the money. This is a contract opportunity through a non profit so I'm assuming a 1099 will be issued. The per hour rate is significantly less than my billable rate. T3 firm reached out re: direct admit to the partnership with some runway to grow the practice. I am at a firm now where there aren’t bright line metrics to make PPMD, but think I could make it in 2-5 years. This would be a step down in brand, but might be better from a WLB and getting to start at partner. Haven’t had firm comp talks yet but range was well north of 50% increase in cash comp from current (plus LT equity, draws, etc). Anyone take $ over brand? what are some traps to watch for?

Just heard FY23 partners at PwC are getting only 40 shares vs.60 last year. Looks like new partners are being shown the middle finger by Tim Ryan in favor of increasing stock price and getting more catalyst hires. Sucks!!

D 🐠, what was your take home in first year as principal? I assume you all get roughly 350 units and have to finance your buy in. What does that leave for your monthly draw? And after your insurance?
