Is it possible to move from one country to another within Europe for a job? What are the challenges involved?

Let's say I move to a country A this year on work permit and stay there for a year or two and if the environment or work doesn't suit me and I want to switch to Country B, is it doable?

What are the legal proceedings that are involved?

Any thoughts/suggestions on this ?
