Need some advice. Recently joined my dream job, but the director I work for demonstrates toxic behavior. I have been only few months in this role and it would not look good if I start looking again. Leadership is aware, but they can’t do much because of some internal politics. I am 100% staffed on her projects and it becomes overwhelming mentally. These are multi-year SOWs and large clients. Started my LLM this fall and used to be a senior manager for Tax Structuring in M&A.
I’ve been applying to entry level LLMs positions for international tax with no success.
I’m in a loss if I’m doing something wrong or maybe my profile doesn’t match what big4 in US expects from an ITS associate…
I’m a foreign trained lawyer and accountant, I’m eligible to take both the bar and the CPA (and have them both in my country).
Should I give up going back to ITS and try a different area, maybe?
