To anyone in NYC market, what's a ball park realistic salary expectation for someone with 1YOE? Associate consultant/consultant within business advisory/technology strategy. Strong experience and a master's degree to support (I know not much) but just curious what to expect

Does an address change affect your field office? Moved from Connecticut to Seattle and filed address change last year. Wondering whether that’s why GC is taking forever. PD is Feb 2020 and Case ID starts with SRC… though case was transferred to NBC months ago. Anyone know field office implications and is there a way to find out?

Outside of salary, what other things have people negotiated as new hire, I’ve seen more PTO, working from home, sign on bonus, even stock options? How have you negotiated these things especially if you are new to negotiating? Any books or references that gave you a great foundation. I’ve been on my job search from sometime now and getting more interviews, I’m willing to take a pay cut, but wonder what else I can ask for outside of more pay? Thanks

1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. Also, the husband of Irma Garcia (one of the teachers who lost her life) died of a heart attack today after visiting the memorial. The couple had four kids. I can’t even imagine losing one parent to this horrific tragedy and losing the other within 48 hours.
