Hi fishes, I attempted an interview for software engineer post at Amdocs. I cleared the first round of interview and later contacted the recruiter for the same. The recruiter replied by saying they will let me know once panel will be available.
It’s been around 2 weeks I haven’t heard from the recruiter.
Can anyone guide me and help me with the same?

I've done both, and in my opinion they are equally challenging. In retail the biggest challenge is staff wrangling, which can feel very much like herding cats. In hospitality the bigger challenge is keeping guests happy. The one plus I will give to hospitality is that if your company is worth a damn, you will be given a lot of leeway to bend the rules in order to make a guest happy, however it is REALLY tough when you work somewhere that doesn't give you that freedom, and expects you and your staff to just smile and take abuse while enforcing their policies. That said, salaries in hospitality tend to be higher than retail, unless you are all the way at the corporate level and removed from the day to day operations of running the brick and mortar.
