Question about IEP goals if anyone can help. If a student has an OT goal (say being able to zip coat or put on shoes without assistance) and the IEP says person responsible is the OT, is that all on them? Switching from commission to salary!

I’m considering a less sales-oriented role that doesn’t pay commission. The new role will have a higher base but lower overall earning potential.

What % haircut should be expected? As an example, if I make 100k (base + commission) today, would it be realistic to ask for 90k (10% cut) + equity to make up the difference?

Someone on LinkedIn expressed disappointment about the lack of diversity from the big law firms in TX that were posting pics of their summer associates. A managing partner commented that he thought the post might be about a pic he posted (12/14 SAs were white). He tried to defend this by saying that they had LGBT and socioeconomic diversity. The fact that he recognized that his pic might be part of the problem says it all. Law firms need to do better. Sorry, I just wanted to rant.

I'm a younger plaintiff's side attorney (31). Does anyone else feel like white attorneys give you a particularly harder time? I feel like I'm going through really bad imposter syndrome, How do you manage it ?

Can someone please explain to me what imposter syndrome is? Apparently I should have it because I’m not white (according to all of the posts I see on LinkedIn about it).

I am so tired of being treated like an assistant and I’m at a loss on how to correct it. Anyone feel like your job sees you as "one of the good ones?"
