I am a fresher psychologist.
I have an offer from a company that deals with children and learning difficulties. The company has a two year contract. Their start pay is 20K for a probation period of 3-6 months. After that period, they will increase the salary to 25K. After 1½ year, they'll make it 30K and after 2 years 35K.

I have a dilemma of sticking around the same company for so long and limiting the population I will have training under (only children population).

Should I accept it?

This might be philosophical but wanted to understand if we should get satisfied and be happy with what we have or keep striving for more?

Reason I am asking this is - I earn close to 1.5 lakhs every month and if someone had told me this during my college days I would have taken it eyes closed thinking this is more than enough. But today, I am not able to be satisfied and I don't want this to become an affliction so thought to share with others here and get to know the general sentiments.
