Hello! I asked about flying with dogs in carriers before—we bought our ticket with delta, but my dog has long legs, so when he lays down he’s fine but when he sits, half his body is out of the carrier (pics attached). A friend who flies with American said they checked to see that her dog could stand and turn around. Does anyone have experience flying with delta/do they do this as well?

Delta is much better and more accommodating than American!

I have flown 20-25 times with my [first] dog and not once did they do anything other than make sure the dog was in the carrier and that she was ticketed. Mostly SWA or Jet Blue, some Delta occasionally American.

Perfect. That’s what I thought but my friend just made me nervous! Thank you!

Keep a treat in your pocket! My dog hated TSA “patting” him down from the metal in his collar so was nice to distract him with a treat

My friend had to make her dog turn in carrier for southwest!

wow!

I honestly think the carrier is too small for the dog (he doesn't appear to fit laying down) and the carrier might be too big for under the seat. Did you confirm the max dimensions for your flight when you booked?

Yeah, double checked the dimensions for the space. The carrier itself will fit. I haven’t zipped up everything yet to make sure he fits in there, just so he gets used to it first.

I thought there are specific types of crates allowed to be used too? I’m not 100% sure but researched it few years ago trying to ship my dog.

Do you continue to see in-flight interview processes through once you’ve received and accepted an offer? It feels premature to cut the chord on the others, but also the decision between the companies becomes harder. Also afraid of the possibility to go back on the acceptance of the one role in favor of another.

Hi,
Need some advice. My pet had been eating his kebble food on a consistent basis. Then I introduced a bit of raw chicken into his kebble and loved having it even more. But now I'm realizing that if I don't add chicken, he just doesn't eat his regular kebble food. What should I do? (Don't want to feed chicken every day)

I’m needing recommendations for a quality/reliable pet health insurance company. On Dec. 12, I will be bringing home a French bulldog puppy and I want to insure her. (Below is a photo of her at 3 weeks)
