Hello - Looking for some guidance in career development. I am currently a property adjuster handling mostly residential weather losses but would like to transition to construction defect or subcontractor default claims. Does anyone have experience making that jump, guidance on “in-between” roles to bridge the skill gap, or know of companies that hire without 5-10yr direct experience in these types of roles?

I made a similar jump by gaining some construction-specific knowledge through online courses and networking with folks in the industry... You could look into roles like construction claims assistant or junior claims adjuster to build experience. Some companies might be open to transferable skills, so always worth reaching out!

Hi fishies! Are there any recruiters from Facebook (Meta) who would be kind enough to review my resume and give me some feedback? From my perspective I’m a candidate for some of the roles I’ve recently applied for and also have experience as a contingent worker there and would like some honest feedback so I can reassess and reapply. Thanks so much in advance!

I graduated with my bachelor's in HRM and I'm wondering if there are any certifications or trainings I could do before I lock down on the SHRM-CP. I recently became HIPAA certified for my company and that got me thinking about what else I could do to add to my resume. Looking for good stepping stone certificates.
