I have joined CGI few days ago and now cleared all the rounds at MasterCard. During the HR discussion requested at least a 15% hike on CGI CTC, but MasterCard is only willing to match current offer as I have already joined CGI and assigned to a project.Should I stay with CGI or move to MasterCard with the same salary? And what about work life balance and policies if compared both.?

Just wrapped up a deal with a regular client (although the client’s deal teams vary). I’m a Junior and did a lot of the emailing back and forth with the client and with the other side. Got offered 68k after 2 years as a contractor (62.5k) doing project management/business admin in a tech department at a Fortune 500 bank. I have an A.S degree and working on my bachelor’s/masters may 2024. I negotiated to 84k NYC. I have seen interns get offered 38 per hour (79k) for internship positions with a similar role.

Thoughts? Should I go higher? I do my job well that’s why they decided to keep me as a contractor after my internship.
