Hello, ZS 🐠. Currently negotiating AC salary. Can someone pls help me with the top end salary band for an AC? I don’t think there’s much scope negotiating the sign-on salary. So, want to make sure I maximize the base salary.

Currently an associate at a V30 and negotiating a partnership position at another V30. What is the correct way to maximize the pay in the negotiation as a lateral partner? I’m afraid of settling at a lower price than what they can do at the top end of the range! Do I anchor by asking for an outrageous figure or let them offer a salary figure first?
