I’m a UI/UX designer with 3+ years of experience working across domains such as real state investment, e-commerce, Education . I have recently resigned from my previous job’s as company is not getting projects. I’m actively applying for new roles. Would greatly appreciate any references, recommendations, or leads.

Now entering my third week of no booze, after getting horribly and embarrassingly wasted at my work summer party. I won't lie, even though I find myself wanting a drink often, it feels really good.

Exhausted by entitled clients that are just plain nasty. Is it just me or are clients everywhere getting more demanding and treating their agencies worse?

I'm the only associate on a case with two partners. The elderly, managing partner thinks that a party has had three prior wrecks, I'm confident that the party only had one. He keeps telling witnesses/experts about his multiple prior wrecks, and I keep correcting him afterwards in private, but he keeps making the same mistake.

How should I handle this?

I'm about to go freelance and need some advice on how to set my rates, how to have a proper contract, etc. How did you all get started? Be nice! Thanks

I recently got diagnosed with ADHD. I'm 31 and found this only because b school and post mba consulting job was/is much more challenging than anything I did before. What I'm confused about is that even as a teenager I could read entire books overnight. But the last two years of high school I started selectively zoning out and the problem has become worse since. I just realised it now. My doctor has suggested treating depression (I was also unaware of this) with Wellbutrin first (contd)

I'm graduating in a few weeks, is to weird to send a holiday gift like wine or a Christmas Card along with my resume? I haven't been hearing back from the companies i have been applying to and I'm looking to stand out.

Has anyone ever been "let go of"? Either laid off or fired. How did you get through it?
