Very confused. Looking at current market scenario.

So I get that in a corporate set up, you are supposed to be sharp and witty and think on your feet. Trouble is, I am extremely slow with comebacks. (Think Ross in Friends/Amy in B99) at the crunch moment, I generally end up not being able to give a good roast back. Unfortunately the best of them come to me like a few hours later (dinner/shower/TV) and I am left ruing and amazing opportunity to have gotten one back. I am awful at jibes and roasts.

Anyone else suffer from this?

What is the most number of documents you’ve filed at once using Federal ECF? I had reason to look back today, and my record exceeds 170. Reaching that “filing submitted” page is a core memory at this point, but I’m sure it’s not that uncommon?

My total experience is 6yrs (8mon in Accenture)
My current CTC is very low, 4.77lpa. Got 10% for September cycle.
1) when is the annual appraisal cycle, when we will get the hike letter? Approx hike %
2) will we get additional hike for sub-level change from 12.2 -> 12.1?

USI fish: I was promoted in Aug last year and I though we were supposed to get raises in February. Wasn't that announced in USI too?

Anybody has any idea when we would know about those increments, US people already know it I think.

What is Post Joining BGV process in HCL?

My pre-joining BGV shows completed on discovery portal but I don't see any link on Discovery Portal for post joining BGV process where I can upload docs or see the progress?

Do they use same data which was provided pre-joininig or i need to submit details again after joining?

Its written in Mphasis offer letter that i can endorse the acceptance before the date of joining.

I had interviewed for Cognizant and I was asked to submit my documents for offer letter release. This happened on the same day as my interview(Friday 6th May). I submitted my documents and I am trying to contact the HR who scheduled my interview, but she is not picking up my call. My question is how soon can I expect the offer letter to be released? And is there a possibility that they can reject my profile at this stage?

The total CTC is
Fixed 29lpa
Variable 2.9lpa
Stocks $24k vested over 3yr
Overall yearly is coming around 38LPA

In GS my current fixed is only 13LPA but got bonus of 3lk last yr on a prorated basis as i joined only last yr may.

Not sure if i can ask GS to match my offer from PayPal and im hesitant to switch. ( Note as per my recent conversations with my managers I'm up for promotion in dec)

I just got an offer from Morgan Stanley. The offer is indeed handsome and provides other benefits as well. The problem is I just relocated to Pune for my wife's work, we have set up our house here and now if I accept offer I again have to relocate to Bangalore because they aren't offering WFH. What should I do? I know Morgan Stanley is a very reputed firm and might make an enormous impact in my technical growth, but is it worth taking the pain of relocation again?? I am confused.

I am moving to Bangalore the next weekend, by 17th July. Seems there is a slight increase in Covid cases, would it be better to come now or should I ask my manager to allow me to come to office after some weeks once everything seems fine?
