I wanted to check something — I'm currently working with a company and have already submitted my resignation. I also have an offer from another company and will be joining them soon.

However, my current employer has requested me to continue providing support as a contractor even after my official last working day.

Could you please advise if this is allowed or if it might impact my joining or compliance with the new company?
