Hey guys, I have the first short 15-minutes call with a product guy from Hugging Face today wherein he is likely going to take a guess at what roles I could be suitable for. I had applied for Post-Sale Machine Learning solutions Engineer. Have interviewed a couple of people from WK over the past few weeks and have been hearing a lot about how it’s becoming a pretty horrible place to work since Susan came onboard. The criticism was more around actually working there than the work itself but is it really that bad? One of the candidates was saying that many of the good creatives have been leaving or are planning to leave because of this. I haven’t ever worked for Susan so I have no clue. Was interviewing with a firm and soon after receiving an offer, learned of bad culture/toxic partners in the practice group from a couple of associates who recently lateraled from the firm. My supervisor gave me 8hours of AWOL because I couldn't show up one day because I was under anxiety. I have gave him letters from psychiatrist,psychologist that I'm passing through this. He didn't care and gave me an AWOL. I want to leave my job because my department is very toxic but I don't want to leave having that on my records.
If I move to another job later on (private or federal) this 8 hours of AWOL will show up?

Have an offer from AWS for an L7 Principal PMT role: $215k base + $275k sign on bonus for Year 1 and $215k for year 2 + 5100 RSUs (@ $130 / share). This is the initial offer; where is there room for negotiation? Base or Sign on Bonus or RSUs? I realize it's a good offer, but I'm looking for: $225k base + existing sign on + 5500 RSUs. Does that sound like a decent counter?

How high does L6 range typically go for Sr Program Manager roles? I am currently at ~250k TC and the position they were interviewing me for hand a max range of 200k TC. Is >300k TC possible?

Went through multi-day loop for L5 SA and felt confident in my interactions. Presentation went well with no lack of answers for follow up questions. Just found out 6 days later I will not be receiving an offer, and it is policy to not provide feedback of gaps or reasons behind no offer. Also found out they ask you not to reapply for 1 to 2 years for same role. Would anyone recommend an alternate path for feedback on interview (outside of recruiter) and is the 1-2 year policy true?

I have gotten a verbal offer from Facebook, but I just had my phone screen interview with the hiring manager at Amazon yesterday. I want to reach out to the recruiter at Amazon and let them know what the timeline looks like. I would much rather have the Amazon job over the Facebook one. But I’m afraid if I decline Facebook then Amazon won’t happen. I’m just completely lost.
