Am I the 1st post here :)
I was just offered a CUNY role. The title is Higher Education Assistant. According to Glassdoor, the average annual pay for that role is $83,418. However, I was offered $62,500. I requested for the minimum annual salary to be 75k. Does anyone have experience navigating the CUNY system and their pay?

I’ve now been twice. It radically transformed how I think about my classroom, for the better. (I’m taking next summer off so I can take a trip with my kids, but will be going back again the year after.)
Parts of the Modeling philosophy have their fingerprints all over the NGSS.
I can not recommend going highly enough!
You will not regret attending a Modeling Instruction workshop through ATMA. It is a big time investment. But, the changes you see in your students and your teaching are totally worth it!
love them!!!!!! Currently rewriting my curriculum very slowly to structure other subjects like them.
Every physics teacher should take at least one AMTA workshop. The research behind Modeling Instruction is also the research behind the NGSS. (Except for putting newtonian thinking in middle school...)
I loved it! I took the Chemistry one in Raleigh NC at NC State. It’s been a while now though. 7 years I think. I had so much fun networking and meeting new people. Chemistry teachers are fun and we had a great time hanging out. One of the best PD’s I’ve ever done.
