Let’s talk labs on the block schedule and the EOC!! Anyone have ideas for chemistry labs?

Got an offer for SE III at a large tech company. Product I'd be working on interests me and I think I could grow more than in my current role.

Currently I make 180k base and have ISO/RSUs @ startup (60k/yr worth on paper, but won't be worth anything for a few years, if at all).

The offer is:
Base: $166,500
Target Bonus: 10% ($16,650)
RSU: 120k total (30k/yr)

Thoughts on offer? Should I counter?

Additionally there's a yearly target RSU bonus about equal to the cash bonus. Thoughts? 4.5 YOE

How come I have to pay $116 out of pocket for my dental exam and cleaning? Is this covered by your firm’s dental coverage plan?

Ladies, I am F in my late 30s with fine, medium-length, flat hair. It’s been thinning and feel like I am losing a lot of it.
I’ve tried oral supplements but it didn’t do much to help (just grew hair on my face instead 😳). Any recommendations that might have helped you with the same issue? Anything topical that worked for you?

Gay man who works in a large org that is big on diversity and inclusion efforts. I’d say about 50-60% of people (at all levels, across all age groups and races) list their gender pronouns in email signature. I list mine because I see it as a way to show support for colleagues who may not be cisgender. If anyone else works in the same type of environment, do you infer anything about colleagues who choose not to list their gender pronouns? (such as they are homo/trans phobic?)

Let's talk labs! How do you find time to work labs into your schedule and still master the material before the EOC?

For AP or honors teachers, is it a teacher’s job to filter who gets into the class if there are already set district expectations about course pathways? I’m tired of counselors sending students to me asking to take an AP class in 10th grade when the expectation is that all students take the general course in 10th grade and are allowed to take the AP class in their 11th or 12th grade year. I feel like that decision is not mine to make anymore and I don’t want to make it anyway.

Any advice for a new Science Olympiad coach in Michigan?

I will be teaching Biology 9 and Anatomy and Physiology in the fall at a new school. I am in search of recommendations on a good lab manual for both classes. I would like a manual that has a thorough teacher edition and includes a good variety of labs that are appropriate for all learning levels.
