I would start with a one on one lesson with a local pro or some you know who plays well. You don’t want to learn bad habits or techniques. See how you like it and go for there.
Watch lots of videos of tick tock or instagram to learn different practice drills and techniques . Check out facebook marketplace for used clubs don’t need super expensive new ones. Practice, practice, practice and video your swings to see what you are doing wrong. Research clubs that have lots of forgiveness.
It’s harder than it looks but becomes addicting. I started when my husband got into golfing.
Solid advice above.
After you get a set clubs & you have had some decent practice time at the driving range, start going to the actual courses with a friend who plays. This will be the quickest way to learn golf etiquette, gain some confidence as well as take the nervousness out of being on the course.
It will soon become an addiction of the best kind. 😊
