I have 4 years in strategic roles and 4 years in implementation. I have been keen on making a change to a generalist role at MBB. How would I go about it ? Dont want the MBA path. I would appreciate any good advice on how to get started.
It would be difficult to get a look for the Consultant role. But hey, you can always apply and see if a recruiter happens to notice!
Sounds like a potential fit for a consultant role in BCG GAMMA.
You could go gamma and then general track internally. Changing track is not that easy, but possible. Furthermore, Gamma work - depending on role - can be pretty much similar to general track consultant‘s work (just project selection biased towards data-heavy projects).
