Hey Sharks, I joined in verizon india last april, i got moved to new project at july end. I have 2.5 years of experience in java,springboot, Micrservices architecture. But in my new team deployed in a support project. Feeling depressed and frustrated. asked manager 2 times to change my responsibility. But he's accepting in call but not doing what he is promised. Please suggest what can i do here. Does droppeing paper is a good solution? Please suggest. Thanks in advance.Verizon

Yes, you're expected to pretend this layoff is nothing, put on a smile, act like everything is perfectly fine, hand over KTs to your team or whatever vendor replacement shows up, and then quietly fade into the sunset. That's VDSI for you. The brutal truth is, no one will give a flying damn about what you're going through. The moment you're out, you're just another empty chair to them.😢

The same happened in my team as well. They are selfish, just want the business to keep going.
It’s absolutely fine if they want to keep the business moving ahead, but the current situation clearly shows that they lack leadership in NS, and maybe across all departments. So it's not gonna change anything, soon they may hire a replacement for you but this toxicity stays forever until a major change in senior management.
My manager has not even checked whether I'm impacted or not and no message till now. I too don't want to waste my time in providing any details of my work and the only focus is to get placed in a better organisation before dec19.
