Hello, I have an offer from Publicis Sapient for their product management internship program. Wondering if anyone has any insight into the program (exits, etc) and how the return offer looks like in terms of salary. I still also hold an interest in data science so might go with another offer but I’m not sure if it is a wise choice to let go of a PM offer while I have it.

Need 11 💟 for DM. Thanks in advance
Hi Fishes,
How do you deal with situations where your scrum master wants you to be done with the stories by tomorrow but your lead is not reviewing your work on time due to which you get blocked too often and it takes too much time to get feedback. And when you raise PR that time they ask to change again and again,I have joined a new company and due to WFH my superiors are always on a call and not giving timely feedback. How to handle such situations? I am ok to work long hours but getting stuck can't do much

I am EX WNS. I have never seen such cheap politics in my 12 years of carrier.
Just informing you never ever go to WNS even if they are paying you more than any other company.
Sir you are working for concentrix and are referring to wns politics. That's surprisingly audacious. Also there is politics every where in a 3rd party , its just that sometime you are the beneficiary and other times you aren't. Its really that simple.
Rising Star
Don't join WNS. I worked for GSK process in WNS and it got ramped down. Although we were not asked to resign directly but there were no opportunities. To me, it was a layoff only where approx 90% people out of total 600 have to resign. So Job security is definitely a concern here.
Another bad thing as mentioned in the comments above, their desktop policy and you have to be in NCR while working from home. Anyway now work from home is over and all have been asked to work from office. No hybrid at all.
IT issues: whenever i faced issues related to IT, i had to wait for couple of days to weeks and went to office to just attend client calls several times.
HR Support: I tried contacting HR for payroll and taxation issue but there phone was either busy or not reachable. I tried atleast 20 times. Actually there are 2 HR people assigned for entire process of 1050. This is impractical to resolve everyone's queries.
Completely aligned..
I am presently serving notice period in WNS and I am an ex-exl employee… Go with EXL at any cost comparing with WNS. Let me tell you, couple of policies in WNS:
1) Follow desktop working culture
2) During peak covid time, they were allowing employees to do WFH but restricted them to go outside Delhi NCR (really faced toughest time ever in my life)
3) Really poor IT infrastructure, you will pissed of everyday since you login the system
4) Zero HR support
5) Zero skip level interaction
6) 90 Days notice period (they sent a mail across WNS regarding Notice period, stated that there is - no buyout option, - employee can go on PIP even on the NP, - 90 means 90, no single day relief
7) 18 Months strict SLA
And there are many more..
Though EXL has also poor in terms of IT support but didn’t find above mentioned points while woking in EXL.
Hope you can understand. (Ignore typo/ grammatical errors)
Appreciate your opinion on WNS. Though, I have shared the points based on my observation. I am above Band B working as Deputy Manager here and my one level up and down both are using Desktops instead laptops that's why shared this point.
Now on my 2nd point regarding WFH policies, the 1st and 2nd wave (almost 70-80%) of COVID, WNS didn't allow their employees to go outside Delhi/NCR. I saw the worst face of my life at that time due to this policy that's why I have shared this point.
On my 6th point regarding the Notice period, the word 'preposterous' is very harsh, perhaps when someone is sharing his own experience. I am having 90 days notice period, even my entire team is having 90 days notice period. If you still think, that it can be leveraged by liaising with management, so I would like to apprise you, the 90 days notice period mail is driven by management itself.
Though I understand that HR support and skip level interaction could be subjective based on personal experience / or team support. Still, rest all of my points are somewhere documented either on offer letter or via mail.
At last, the points you have shared for EXL are also subjective and based on your personal experience or for a specific team.
On my level in EXL, the notice period was 45 days, working on laptops, No SLA or bond policies, they were allowing WFH before covid and we were flexible with working hours as well.
I had exact two options with me 6 months back and l opted EXL after hearing from so many friends. lt has been nice so far to me atleast.
Completely agreed..
As per my knowledge wns wlb is not great
Work life balance is good buddy..
Policies are worse
